1. Learn HTML authoring and create a web page (or pages) that you have tested by loading as a file in your browser. You can find a good selection of shareware HTML editors at TUCOWS or Strouds. Also HTML authoring tips and tutorials are available at Yahoo! If you just need this space for Ebay pictures, then scan your photos to get them in your PC.
2. Use FTP and connect to ftp.acronet.net using your login ID and password. This puts you in your Home directory. You can find FTP software at TUCOWS and Strouds.
3. Make a directory called public_html in your Home directory using the FTP software. (If your account was opened recently then this directory will already exist and you won't have to create it.) Then copy your html files or jpg images into this directory.
4. Name the home page index.html and it will be selected by default when someone requests a web page called http://www.acronet.net/~your_username
5. Add some custom CGI content to your pages! Check out the AcroNet CGI Scripts that are available to all AcroNet web pages.
6. Send us an email to let us know your website is up and ready to be listed on our home pages section. Your website WILL NOT be listed unless you request it!
