CB Radios and Accessories:

Why buy my cb from RC Electronics? Because we aren't just people selling cb's.Our roots are with cb radios. When RC Electronics was first opened we were almost exclusively a cb store. We are expert users as well, and can tell you what cb will work the best for you so your not just standing there looking at a display wondering if you really need all that stuff or not. We can and will tell you saving you time and money while making your buying experience a lot more fun. After all we get to play with the toys before anybody.

We also have over 30 years experience in repairing, tuning and modifying cb radios. We are a national warranty station for Cobra.

How long to fix my cb? Usually a couple of days to a week.

GMRS:

GMRS has been around for a long time, and has recently taken a big new interest due to the introduction of the FRS series radios that operate on frequencies between the regular GMRS channels.

RC Electronics started a GMRS repeater many years ago. It was started to help some old time customers who were house mice and loved their cb radios. The problem was when the skip came in they could talk across the country but not across town. We started the repeater for them and it's been running ever since. We offer the repeater free of charge to our customers, and occasional guests, who would like to use it. We are licensed for 2 frequencies (462.575 and 462.650), but currently only have the 650 machine operational. If you have some interest, we suggest you program the frequency into your scanner and give it a listen. If you decide you would like to participate, stop by and we'll chat about it. Due to our strong involvement with the commercial 2-way radio market we usually have some used radios a guy can get pretty cheap ($100 or so) to get started. Understand most of the users are older folk, and it probably would not be of much interest to those under the age of 30 or so. Not that youngsters wouldn't be welcome, it's just they would not have a lot in common with us old f---ts.
